Beskrivning

What does last is the Stockholm based A Treehouse Wait. Although both Jenny and Emil
collaborated with different kind of projects, A Treehouse Wait is the project closest to their
heart. With their dreamy, melodic and Scandinavian sound they have been sending their sad
but hopeful songs around the world since 2010. Jenn y ’s seemingly carefree voice shares
mellow melodies that are so powerful they stir up huge crowds.
After the release of their debut album Interlude in 2016 at VOLKOREN, A Treehouse Wait is
finally back with their edgy pop music. Due to some personal issues t heir new album
Kaleidoscope took a bit longer than expected It made loyal fans around the world wait a long
time But now the T reehouse) wait is over and it was worth it This album is so powerful,
catchy, and melody driven and at the same time melancholic and dreamy one wonders if the
band can ever top this. Songs like “All of me” and “Pick me up” might remind you of artist s
like T he Paper Kites and Stina Nordenstam But s ongs like the “The Edge and ICCY are
more production based and let the listener enter a world of bass, beats and vocal effects that
is unparalleled
Whether acoustic or production based sounding, Kaleidoscope still has the common thread
of Jenny’s vocals, desperately addressing the reality of loneliness, suffering and the search for
oneself in a world where everything is up for grabs. Hopefully the songs, with their different
colors and shapes, will allow the listener to see the whole spectrum just like the light
through a kaleidoscope.
