"Vice verses" är tyngre, mer elektrisk och intensivare än bandets tidigare skivor. Dock uatn att förlora det sound och den nerv som alltid varit signifikativt för bandet! En hel dek av denna "förnyelse" lam man nog tillskriva producenten Neal Avron (Weezer, Linkin Park) och Mike Elizondo (Eminem, 50 Cent, Pink, maroon 5) som bandet tagit hjälp av.
